We worked with both the international sports organization and a communications firm that partnered with them to improve Google search results.
Following an onslaught of negative press, we were brought in to
collaborate with the organization and firm to address the crisis.
The goal for the organization and communications firm was to displace negative content surrounding the event’s executive management that was ranking on page 1 of Google search results. This included leverage and optimizing content to build brand resilience and take control of the event’s brand story.

We developed an optimization plan in conjunction with the agency to improve SEO for existing branded websites. We carried out this plan to optimize controlled, branded content to rank for important keyword terms.
We also developed a strategy to build SEO into new content being shared via branded channels. We promoted this new content with optimizations in place to encourage new content to also rank for important keywords.
Within 3 months, the negative content was removed from the top 2 pages of Google UK and Google US.
